# Global Configuration and Data Management

Apply settings and manage variables that affect all tables in the project.

Step 1: Open Global Config Settings via the corresponding button to apply options across all tables.

Step 2: Set global filters or a weight variable if available.

Step 3: To review or transform data, visit the Data Panel and select Review Variables.

Step 4: Adjust variable groupings by ungrouping, regrouping, or renaming as needed.

Step 5: Apply transformations by grouping variable codes and specifying question types.

Step 6: Click Apply Transforms to commit your changes and make new groups available in the workspace.
