# Starting a project

Metaforms allows you to create new projects or fetch existing ones directly from **Decipher**, **IntelliSurvey**, and **Confirmit** - all by simply configuring your platform’s **API key** within Metaforms.

We also offer **free custom integrations** for in-house survey platforms, making it easy to connect Metaforms with your existing internal systems.

Within Metaforms, you can:

* Start a new **Ad-hoc Study**, or
* Launch a new wave under an existing **Tracker Project**.
