# File Preview

The **File Preview** panel - visible on the right side of the Build screen - is where you can view all documents uploaded to Metaforms, most commonly the **questionnaire**.

**Key Features:**

* **Import Files**: Upload new documents or updated versions of an existing questionnaire using the **Import** button. Click on "Upload new File(s)" to add new files and "Upload new version of ...Doc..." for replacing your existing Document.

When you update an existing questionnaire, it triggers the **Change Management** flow which allows you to manage how document updates affect your XML.

* **View All Files**: Click **View all files** to browse every document associated with the project.
* **Open in Split**: Displays the document side-by-side with your XML editor in split view for easier reference while building.
* **Open in New Window**: Opens the document in a separate tab or window for full-screen access.
* **Download File**: Lets you download the document locally.
* **View History**: Shows a **timestamped history** of document uploads and updates, so you can track changes over time or revert if needed.
