File Preview

The File Preview panel - visible on the right side of the Build screen - is where you can view all documents uploaded to Metaforms, most commonly the questionnaire.

Key Features:

• Import Files: Upload new documents or updated versions of an existing questionnaire using the Import button. Click on "Upload new File(s)" to add new files and "Upload new version of ...Doc..." for replacing your existing Document.

When you update an existing questionnaire, it triggers the Change Management flow which allows you to manage how document updates affect your XML.

• View All Files: Click View all files to browse every document associated with the project.

• Open in Split: Displays the document side-by-side with your XML editor in split view for easier reference while building.

• Open in New Window: Opens the document in a separate tab or window for full-screen access.

• Download File: Lets you download the document locally.

• View History: Shows a timestamped history of document uploads and updates, so you can track changes over time or revert if needed.
