What your client will experience

Your client opens the link you shared, enters their email, and gets a one-time login link — no password, no account. From there they land on a stripped-down review page: a Questionnaire tab, a Survey Link tab (the live survey preview, with a desktop/mobile toggle and a screenshot button), and a side panel with Comments and Changes only. There is no Agent tab on their side.

What a client with Edit access sees, start to finish: the emailed login link, the page loading, browsing the tracked changes, approving them, and leaving a comment

Comments are shared across both tabs, so a note left on the survey preview lands in the same thread as one left on the questionnaire.

What they can do

With View access they can read the questionnaire and the survey preview, comment on anything, reply in threads, and switch to the Final preview. They cannot edit the document — which is why their badge reads View & Comment, not just View.

With Edit access they get everything above, plus they can type directly into the questionnaire in Markup. Every keystroke is captured as a tracked, attributed change. They can also approve changes in the Changes tab — their own or yours.

Final is a preview, not an applied state. It shows every change as if accepted, but nothing changes in the document until you freeze the version, and a banner says so while the preview is open. Commenting and editing happen in Markup.
