# Survey link, screenshots & clarifications

Once the SP has synced the build and marked the version ready, the **Survey Link** tab appears for you — and for your client on their review link — showing the live scripted survey. From there the questionnaire and the live survey stay connected through comments, in both directions: the SP can ask you for clarification without leaving the workspace, and you or the client can flag something seen in the live survey with a screenshot that lands right back in the SP's panel.

**Step 1: SP asks for clarification** — In the Programming workspace, open **Comments**, select the text in question, write an internal note and post it. It appears in the PM's Review tab straight away, anchored to the same text.

**Step 2: PM answers from the Review tab** — The note shows under **Comments** with the SP's name. Reply in the thread; the SP sees the answer in the workspace.

**Step 3: PM (or client) checks the live survey** — The **Survey Link** tab shows the scripted survey exactly as respondents will see it, with a desktop / mobile toggle. Clients see the same tab on their review link once the build is synced and marked ready. **Screenshot page** captures the current screen — annotate it, describe what you saw, and it posts as a comment with the screenshot attached.

**Step 4: SP picks it up** — The screenshot comment lands in the SP's Comments panel, so the fix can be made against the exact screen the PM was looking at.

![SP posts a clarification, the PM replies from the Review tab, screenshots the live survey and annotates it, and the comment lands back in the SP's workspace](https://1402057010-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FgtHd8o9ldznZ1hKHiZvc%2Fuploads%2FvpWwQXKUXq4BeBz7ep2g%2Fsp-survey-link-clarifications.gif?alt=media)

{% hint style="info" %}
Comments are shared between the Questionnaire and Survey Link tabs, so a note left on the live survey preview lands in the same thread system as one left on the document.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.metaforms.ai/review-collaboration/survey-link-screenshots-and-clarifications.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
