Comments & tracked changes

Comments

Comments anchor to selected text. Start one from the sidebar composer or the inline popover at the selection — both produce the same anchored, threaded comment. Every thread supports Reply, Resolve, and Delete, plus an Internal / Client visibility toggle.

What it does

Reply

Anyone with comment access

Adds a response inside the thread, visible to everyone who can see that comment.

Resolve

PM, or the comment's author

Marks the thread addressed. Moves to the Resolved tab, stays fully visible, can be reopened.

Reopen

PM, or the comment's author

Moves a resolved thread back to Open.

Delete

PM, or the comment's author

Removes the comment entirely.

Anyone commenting on the live survey preview

Attaches a captured image of the current survey page to the comment.

PMs can resolve and delete any comment. Clients can resolve and delete only comments they authored. A resolved comment shows a Resolved badge with who resolved it and when.

Tracked changes

Every accepted suggestion or direct edit is logged — old text struck through, new text added — with author and timestamp. Approving a change records it against the version that will carry it; the document itself only changes when the version is frozen.

Deleting a phrase, the tracked change appearing in the Changes tab with author and time, approving it, and approving all open changes

The version-boundary rule. Freezing a version locks all accepted changes: anything applied before the freeze folds into the new baseline and shows as Sent to Programming or Programmed to anyone opening the new live version. Unresolved comments carry forward; resolved ones remain under Comments → Resolved.
