4. Complete QA & Validation

QA runs automatically when you enter this stage. The question rail shows which questions are processing, resolved, or still have findings to review.

For the selected question, use the following tabs:

  • AI Suggestions: review detected coding issues.

  • By Code: inspect responses grouped by code and add or remove assignments.

  • Other Review: move responses out of Other and into an existing code, individually or for selected rows on the current page.

  • Multi-Coded: inspect responses with two or more codes and remove unnecessary assignments.

  • Distribution: review the response count by code.

Review AI suggestions

Metaforms can report:

  • Miscoded: the assigned code does not fit the response.

  • Better Fit: another code would describe the response more accurately.

  • Missing Code: the response matches a theme that was not assigned.

  • Over-coded: one or more assigned codes do not apply.

  • Other Misplaced: the response is in Other but fits an existing code.

Each suggestion includes a High, Medium, or Low severity, the current codes, the suggested codes, and an explanation.

For each finding:

  • Accept: apply the suggested code change.

  • Ignore: keep the current assignment and resolve the finding.

Use the severity filters to focus the list. Mark all resolved ignores every remaining pending finding for the selected question.

A question is resolved when QA is complete and it has no pending findings. All questions must be resolved before Proceed to Export is enabled.

Use Redo QA if you want Metaforms to discard the current QA findings and analyze the coding again.
