Review translations

When an answer is in a language other than the survey language, Metaforms flags a Language Mismatch, records the detected language, and generates a translation.

In Respondents view:

  • Select the checkmark beside a translation to accept it.

  • Select the pencil to edit the translation. Saving an edit marks the translation as reviewed.

  • Use Accept translations to accept all reviewable translations for the selected respondent.

A language mismatch is not automatically treated as junk solely because it needs translation. Review the translated meaning, then decide whether to keep or junk the answer.
