Maxdiff Indices

Metaforms supports a wide range of Maxdiff Indices in your surveys.

Let's take a look at all of them:

• Maxdiff using Indices method with 2 columns.

  We are following the standard way of creating the Maxdiff given by the Forsta for the Maxdiff Indices method. • After the Maxdiff is created it would look like this:

  • The quota tag will be there to select the version.

  • Question will be there to store the version selected in the quota.

  • Intro question will be programmed if any provided in the QNR.

  • The Maxdiff question will look like this. It will have the most and least column and the exact wordings for that column will be as per the QNR. The attributes/rows shown will be based on the QNR, the design file and the version selected in the quota.

  • If there is any conditional text that should be shown for a particular iteration of the loop, it would be taken care also.

  • If the answer is not provided, validation will raise an error.

  • If the same row is selected for both the most and least column, validation will raise errors.

• Maxdiff using Indices method with 6 columns.

  If the Maxdiff has six columns, it would be displayed like the one below. The remaining steps shown above will remain as it is.
